Curtain Call

Thirty eight years ago tonight, May 18, 1964 the curtain in the theatre at Confederation Centre of the Arts went up for the first time. The Dominion Drama festival had begun and seven plays were to be preformed before full houses each evening and for two matinees. Full houses for seven plays was as great a miracle as the fact that there was a curtain to raise.
